Nothing else I'd rather do...

The first assignment in my summer art photography class was to build a pinhole camera.  That's all it took.  I've had a camera in my hand ever since.  Even if I don't, there's always a shot I want to take.  Henri Cartier-Bresson taught me to see the world as I see it, perhaps as no one else sees it - and that opened an entirely new universe.  It freed me to shoot from my instincts.  "Don't take pictures that you think others will like; take pictures that you love and others will like them."

I shoot because it makes me laugh, and when I laugh, it seems that others do too - and that's a great place to be.
